Hello –

Now that the start of term rush of inductions and workshops is over, we thought it would be a good idea to update you to some changes regarding who looks after what for the faculty of Life Sciences and Education (LSE).

Pat’s job-share colleague, Robert Mackney, has retired – but she’s still here (on a Mon, Tues & Weds) looking after student library queries for the School of Care Sciences (Community, Mental & Public Health, Adult Healthcare, Developmental Healthcare, Professional Practice within Nursing & Midwifery).

Jan is looking after the School of Health Sport and Professional Practice (Sport Science, Police Sciences, Clinical Diagnostics, Prof. Practice in Health & Social Care . . . .  and just about everything else!).

If you’re struggling to find the information you need for your assignment or dissertation, you now have the option to book an appointment with us on-line, so that we can remind you how to access both print and web-based library resources (books, e-books, databases of journal articles etc. . . . .).

To book an appointment just follow the link on the library home page:
http://studentlibrary.southwales.ac.uk – or contact Student Services on 01443 482080

See you soon!
